I’m so glad that Billy and Jennifer found us! This couple had been planning their wedding for the past year. About half a year after their initial inquiries, I received an email that plans had drastically changed. They had decided on having courthouse marriage in a few weeks notice!
We ended up exchanging quite a few emails in quick succession in order to work out all the details of their big day. Instead of a courthouse marriage which could not be scheduled at a specific time, they went with an officiated outdoor wedding. So, what better place to get it done than here in Raleigh at the gorgeous Pullen park during a quiet weekday afternoon right before going to a big concert at the Redhat Amphitheater? Day by day, the wedding plans started becoming more of a reality.
On the big day, we felt ominous rain drops as we were walking up to the gazebo across the pond at Pullen Park. However, as 3 o’clock came closer, the rain subsided and created the perfect overcast day! Marilee (https://www.facebook.com/idoyourvows) officiated a sweet and simple ceremony which centered around the noble, yet humbling fact that
we are all made of stardust.
I hope you guys enjoy the photos!
